Air France launches third German destination from Marseille
- On 8 June, Air France further expanded its network out of its base in the southern French city of Marseille (MRS), where the airline has grown considerably since last October. Following the launch of services to Düsseldorf last October, and to Hamburg at the turn of seasons earlier this year, Air France now offers flights to a third destination in Germany, as it launched twice-weekly services to Berlin Tegel (TXL). In return, weekly frequencies to Düsseldorf are reduced from five to three. There is no direct competition on the new A319-operated route.
