Cutting the cake to celebrate Pegasus Airlines’ new route to Tel Aviv in Israel were the low-cost airline’s SVP Commercial, Güliz Öztürk, and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport’s CEO, Gökhan Buğday.
- Turkey’s fast-growing LCC Pegasus has launched another new route from its Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) base. Tel Aviv (TLV) in Israel will be served with six weekly flights starting on 18 June, using the airline’s fleet of 737-800s. According to the airline, Tel Aviv will become the airline’s 52nd destination. Indirect competition is provided by Turkish Airlines, which operates up to four daily flights from Istanbul Atatürk Airport.
