On 12 June, RusLine began twice-weekly flights between Volgograd (VOG) and Mineralnye Vody (MRV) using CRJ200s. Flights operate every Tuesday and Saturday on the relatively short 520-kilometre service. This is the airline’s sixth non-stop route from Volgograd. It also serves Ekaterinburg, Moscow Domodedovo, St Petersburg, Surgut and Yerevan (Armenia) from the airport. Volgograd, formerly known as Stalingrad, is located around 900 kilometres south of Moscow. RusLine was recently granted permission by Russian authorities to start operating a new aircraft type. Two A319s (VP-BDZ and VP-BDY) will shortly start operating on some of the airline’s routes.
