  • Allegiant Air further expanded its network out of Orlando Sanford, FL (SFB) on 21 June when the airline began serving Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA (AVP) – a route that anna.aero predicted almost two years ago. Flights operate twice a week with the airline’s 150-seat MD80 aircraft. This is the only route to the airport that is not a regional hub-feeder service, as Wilkes-Barre/Scanton’s only other airlines are Delta, United and US Airways, which operate two routes each.
