Pegasus Airlines launches its second low-cost route to Russia from Istanbul

Pegasus Airlines’ second route to Russia was celebrated at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport with a cake shaped as a traditional Russian Kremlin. Omsk in Siberia is now served three times weekly by the fast-growing low-cost airline.

  • Pegasus Airlines launched its second route to Russia on 21 June when the fast-growing Turkish low-cost airline connected its Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) base with Omsk (OMS). The airline, which already served Krasnodar in southern Russia, now operates three times weekly to the city in southwestern Siberia with its 189-seat 737-800s.
