TACA inaugurates thrice-weekly flights from San Salvador to Quito
- On 15 July, TACA launched non-stop flights between the capitals of El Salvador and Ecuador; San Salvador (SAL) and Quito (UIO). Thrice-weekly services will be operated with A319. Danilo Correas, TACA’s Sales Director for Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean, said: “We are very enthusiastic about this new service, as it allows us to offer more travel options to our passengers”. The route is TACA’s third offered to Quito after its flights from Lima and Medellin, and comes only days after the launch of another international route from the airport, the Bogotá service operated by TAME.
