Scoot launches flights to Japan; now serves Tokyo Narita Airport
- Singapore Airlines’ low-cost subsidiary Scoot further expanded its intra-Asian network on 29 October when the airline added Japan to its route map. The airline’s flights between Singapore and Taipei Taoyuan (TPE) now continue to Tokyo Narita (NRT). The daily flights are operated with the airline’s single fleet of 402-seat 777-200ER aircraft. The Taipei-Tokyo sector is operated in direct competition with six other airlines. China Airlines operates three times a day, while JAL and EVA Air each contribute with twice-daily operations and ANA, Delta and Cathay Pacific with each daily flights.
