Upon arrival in the Colombian city of Armenia, which is located in the hearth of the country’s Coffee Triangle, Tiara Air Aruba was welcomed with the traditional water cannon salute.

  • Tiara Air Aruba inaugurated new routes to Colombia on 25 October, as it commenced operations on the route from Aruba (AUA) in the Caribbean to Armenia (AXM) and Medellín (MDE). The twice-weekly service will be operated as a combination of direct and stopping flights, using 737-300s with capacity for 141 passengers. Tiara Air Aruba also offers flights to Riohacha, which is located on the north-eastern Colombian Caribbean coast. During the launch Paola Hurtado Palacio, Governor of the Quindío region, said: “Destinations like Aruba, Curazao, Maracaibo or Riohacha, have proven extremely popular within the Columbian Coffee Triangle.
