South African Airways launches second route to Harare

  • South African Airways expanded its network with services to Harare (HRE), the capital of Zimbabwe, on 2 November. The airline, which already serves Harare with 29 flights a week from Johannesburg, now also offers three flights a week from Durban (DUR) on South Africa’s Indian Ocean coast. Flights are operated from Durban’s new King Shaka International Airport, which only opened in 2010, by SA Express using 50-seat CRJ200 aircraft.
