AirAsia Japan adds Busan as second South Korean destination

In Busan, helping to launch AirAsia Japan’s second route to South Korea were the airlines CEO, Kazuyuki Iwakata; and CFO, Uchiyama Masayuki.

  • AirAsia Japan launches its second South Korean route from Tokyo Narita (NRT), following the launch of services to Seoul Incheon in late October (which resulted in an instant Route of the Week prize from!). On 27 November, the airline added services from the Tokyo airport to Busan (PUS), located on the south-eastern most tip of the Korean peninsula. Daily, A320-operated flights face competition from existing services by JAL (26 weekly frequencies), Air Busan and Korean Airlines (7 each).
