Allegiant Air adds two routes to Montrose, CO; launches St Cloud, MN, from Phoenix-Mesa, AZ
- Allegiant Air launched three new routes on 15 December. The US carrier now flies to Montrose, CO (MTJ), one of the primary gateways for the popular ski resort of Telluride, from both Oakland, CA (OAK), and Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (AZA). Telluride Tourism Board President, Michael Martelon, said: “There has never been a more affordable or more accessible way for people in Phoenix and the Bay Area to discover what makes Telluride one of the world’s premier winter vacation destinations.” In addition, Allegiant Air inaugurated services from the Phoenix airport to St Cloud, MN (STC). All new routes are offered with twice-weekly frequencies and operated using MD80s.
