Indonesia AirAsia launches domestic Makassar services

Indonesia AirAsia took the celebration of its new services to Makassar on the Indonesian Sulawesi Island out to the streets, as it organized a themed workout session at the city’s Losari Beach.

  • Indonesia AirAsia expanded domestic services with the launch direct flights to Makassar (UPG) in eastern Indonesia, from both Jakarta (CGK) and Balikpapan (BPN). Starting 17 December, the airline offers 14 weekly frequencies on each route to this largest city on the Sulawesi Island. The carrier faces substantial competition from numerous of Indonesian airlines already operating on both routes:
