Jin Air adds its second route to Japan

Merry Christmas & Merry Okinawa: Jin Air’s inaugural service from Seoul Incheon to the south-western Island of Okinawa departed on 24 December.

  • Jin Air, the South Korean low-cost carrier, launched its second Japanese route on 24 December following services to Sapporo. From its base at Seoul Incheon (ICN) the airline now operates daily flights on 1,300-kilometre route to Naha (OKA), which is located in the Okinawa prefecture in southern-western Japan. Operating the route with 189-seat 737-800s, the carrier competes with another South Korean carrier, Asiana Airlines, which it matches in terms of weekly frequencies.
