S7 returns with services from Novosibirsk to Munich; adds Verona to its Moscow Domodedovo network
Merry Christmas wishes were sent to Munich with this special cake prepared in Siberian Novosibirsk for S7’s inaugural departure on 23 December.
- S7 resumed services from Novosibirsk (OVB) to Munich (MUC) on 23 December following a break of eight years. The 4,800-kilometre route between the industrial centre of Siberia and the capital of German Bavaria now operates with weekly frequencies using the airline’s 160-seat 737-800. In addition, S7 also expanded its Moscow Domodedovo (DME) network, as it launched thrice-weekly services to Verona (VRN) in northern Italy on 26 December. Indirect competition to this market comes from Yakutia Airlines, which serves Verona twice-weekly from Moscow Vnukovo until 26 January.
