Ukraine International Airlines launches the ex-AeroSvit route to Moscow Sheremetyevo

Passengers on Ukraine International Airlines’ inaugural flight from the Ukrainian capital to Moscow Sheremetyevo were treated to commemorative freebies. Sheremetyevo’s Director Aviation Marketing and Commerce, Vladimir Khijniak said: "We are happy to start cooperation with the largest airline in the Ukraine and hope that the service will be in high demand, strengthening the cultural and economic ties between the two countries."

  • Ukraine International Airlines stepped up its presence in the market from Kiev to Moscow last week, as it launched four-daily services on the 800-kilometre ex-AeroSvit route from Kiev Borispol (KBP) to Moscow Sheremetyevo (SVO) on 22 February. In addition to the new route, on which Ukraine International Airlines competes with Aeroflot’s thrice-daily service, the airline also added a third daily frequency on its existing route from the Kiev airport to Moscow Domodedovo.
