SriLankan Airlines moves in to Sri Lanka’s new international airport

  • SriLankan Airlines began operations at the new Sri Lankan international gateway, Hambantota (HRI) on 21 March with twice-weekly services to Jeddah (JED). On the following day, the airline also inaugurated stopping services to Beijing (PEK), which operate via Bangkok (BKK). Both routes are offered with twice-weekly frequencies and originate in the country’s capital.
