InterSky launches Naples from Memmingen and Zurich from Salzburg

A variation on the traditional Mozartkugel cake, the “Moser-Kugel” cake was baked by Zürich Airport to celebrate both the launch of InterSky’s new route to Salzburg, and the birthday of the airline’s founder and MD, Renate Moser. Zürich Airport’s Rolf Hancock, Manager Airline Affairs, posed for a commemorative picture with Moser.

  • InterSky, which has set ambitious growing plans in Germany and Austria for 2013, inaugurated two routes on 31 March. The airline deploys its 50-seat Q300 to operate the newly launched service connecting Zürich (ZRH) and Salzburg (SZG), and now offers a total of 18 weekly flights on the 300-kilometre route. In addition, the carrier connected the southern German city of Memmingen (FMM) and Italy’s third-largest city Naples (NAP). The seasonal weekly service is operated using the Q300 until 16 June, with planned service resumption on 25 August.
