SAS adds five new routes on the turn of the seasonal schedules
- SAS added a total of five new routes last week. The airline reinstated services on the routes from Copenhagen(CPH) to Prague(PRG), and from Oslo Gardermoen (OSL) to Berlin Tegel (TXL), both of which had been discontinued in 2008. In addition, the carrier launched flights to Budapest(BUD) from both Nordic capitals. On 1 March, SAS also commenced operations on the 700-kilometre route across the Baltic Sea, connecting Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) and Vilnius (VNO). The now-bankrupt Swedish airline, Skyways, operated in this market until March 2012.
