  • Thai Smile, the subsidiary of Thai Airways, increased its international offering from Bangkok (BKK) on 31 March. The carrier now offers five-weekly services to Mandalay (MDL) in Burma, as well as twice-weekly to Ahmedabad (AMD) in the north-western Indian state of Gujarat. While both routes are operated using A320s, Thai Smile faces competition only in the market from Bangkok to Mandalay, which is also served by Myanmar Airways International with daily departures.
