Wizz Air launches three routes to Bergen; adds flights from Tigru Mures to Memmingen

Bergen waterfront was recreated in the cake prepared by Katowice Airport to celebrate the launch of Wizz Air’s new route connecting the two cities. Performing the cake-cutting ceremony were Paweł Wojda, Katowice Airport's MD; Diederik Pen, Wizz Air's COO; Wizz Air's representative; and Monika Krzykawska, the airport's Director Sales and Marketing.

  • Wizz Air increased its presence in Bergen (BGO) with the start of the summer season, as it launched services to the Nordic city from three Eastern European airports. In addition, the carrier also grew its Tigru Mures (TGM) operation and now connects this Romanian city to Memmingen (FMM) in Germany. While all new routes are initially offered with twice-weekly frequencies, the airline will add a third weekly service on the route from Poznań (POZ) to Bergen on 30 April.
