Delta launches services from LaGuardia to Bermuda; adds two domestic routes in Los Angeles

  • Delta Air Lines launched its third service to Bermuda (BDA) last week, and now operates a daily schedule to the North Atlantic destination from New York LaGuardia, NY (LGA), in addition to the existing flights from Boston, MA (daily) and Atlanta, GA (six-weekly). Also on 8 April, the airline added two domestic destinations to its Los Angeles, CA (LAX) offering, reinstating the thrice-daily service to Seattle, WA (SEA), which it last operated in September 2008, and launching daily flights to Nashville, TN (BNA). 737-800s are deployed to serve both Bermuda and Nashville, while services to Seattle are provided using CRJ900s. Delta faces stiff competition on both routes from California.
