FlyGeorgia inaugurates services from Tbilisi to the Ukrainian capital
FlyGeorgia expanded its international reach last week, as it commenced operations on the 1,500-kilometre route from its Tbilisi(TBS) base to Kiev Boryspil (KBP) on 7 April. Four-weekly departures are now offered on the route by the Georgian carrier in direct competition with Ukraine International Airlines’ twice-daily flights. Additionally, Georgian Airlines offers four-weekly flights to Kiev Zhulyany. Before its demise, AeroSvit operated in the market from Tbilisi to Kiev Boryspil and UTair then tried to enter the market in early March, but consequently withdrew the service after less than a month.
