Georgian Airways, the nation’s privately owned flag-carrier, has started a weekly operation between the Black Sea coastal city of Batumi (BUS) and Kiev Zhulyany (IEV) on 20 April. Services are expected to be quickly ramped up to twice-weekly on the 1,300km route, which is operated by the Caucasus-located airline’s CRJ-200 fleet.
