easyJet adds third Greek destination to its London Luton offering; launches Dubrovnik from Edinburgh
- easyJet commenced flights on the third Greek route it offers from its London Luton (LTN) base on 26 April. The British carrier now operates twice-weekly schedule on the 2,600-kilometre route to Mykonos (JMK) in the Cyclades, in addition to the existing thrice-weekly schedule to Corfu and twice-weekly to Heraklion (which was the last new route easyJet launched from Luton, last April). In addition, on the following day, the carrier launched twice-weekly flights on the 2,200-kilometre route from Edinburgh (EDI) to Dubrovnik (DBV), which it already serves from two London airports – Gatwick and Stansted. Flights on both new routes are carried out using A319s.
