flybe inaugurates services from Norwich to Guernsey
Flybe commenced low-frequency seasonal services on the 450-kilometre domestic route from Norwich (NWI) to Guernsey (GCI) in the Channel Islands on 28 April. Weekly flights will be performed on the route by Loganair under flybe’s franchise, using Dornier 328s, and is scheduled to terminate on 29 September. This summer, flybe will serve Guernsey from another five British airports – London Gatwick (33 weekly flights), Southampton (25), Jersey (11), Birmingham (7) and Exeter (6). Last year Norwich’s traffic fell by 4% to just under 400,000 passengers while Guernsey’s also fell by 3% to 870,000.
