Malmö Aviation inaugurates low-frequency flights from Umeå to Prague
- Malmö Aviation commenced operations on the 1,700-kilometre route from Umeå (UME) in northern Sweden, to Prague (PRG) on 26 April. The airline operates twice-weekly services on the route, which is currently its only international service. Avro RJ100s with 112 seats are deployed on the route. Last year Umea airport reported traffic growth of 3% to 983,500 passengers. This summer the airport’s only other scheduled international service will be a weekly Norwegian flight to Alicante.
