Vueling launches three new routes, including two to Brussels

Belgian chocolates from Brussels Airport powered the crew on Vueling’s inaugural flights to Spain last week.

  • Vueling inaugurated services on three new routes last week, all of which present the Barcelona-based carrier with competition from incumbent carriers. Notably, two of the three newly-launched services involve Brussels (BRU); of those, the route to Málaga (AGP) was previously operated by the carrier until March 2008. This brings to four the number of destinations served by Vueling from Brussels; it serves Barcelona with three daily flights, and Valencia with five weekly flights. All flights are carried out using the airline’s fleet of A320s.
