…and continued the day’s celebrations, as the airline commenced twice-weekly services to Olbia.

  • airBaltic increased its seasonal offering from Riga (RIX) last week, as it launched new flights on 4 May to Balaton (SOB) in Hungary, and Olbia (OLB) in Sardinia. Balaton is now offered with a single weekly frequency and operated using Q400s, while Olbia launched with a twice-weekly schedule, and will be increased to thrice-weekly on 19 June. The latter service will see 737-500s deployed on the route. Both routes will have disappeared from the airline’s schedule by the end of September.
