Philippine Airlines resumes flights from Manila to Kuala Lumpur
- Philippine Airlines returned to the market from Manila (MNL) to Kuala Lumpur (KUL) on 1 May, following an absence of seven years. The carrier, which last operated the service in February 2006, now offers four weekly departures on the 2,500-kilometre route, all of which will be served using A319s. Malaysia Airlines (28 weekly flight), Cebu Pacific (14) and PAL Express (3) provide competition in the inter-capital market.
