Transaero grows its presence in Kaliningrad
- Transaero added St. Petersburg (LED) as the second Russian city it connects with Kaliningrad (KGD) on 13 May. The airline, which already offers thrice-weekly frequencies from Moscow Domodedovo, added a twice-weekly schedule from St. Petersburg, which it operates using 737-500s. Competition on the 800-kilometre route comes from Rossiya Airlines, which connects the two Russian cities with 40 weekly services.
