Air Bishkek increases its offering to Russia to seven routes
- Air Bishkek, the flag carrier of Kyrgyzstan, expanded its offering in the market from Bishkek (FRU) to Russia last week. On 16 and 18 May respectively, the carrier inaugurated low-frequency services to Kaliningrad (KGD) and Ekaterinburg (SVX). While flights to both destinations are offered with weekly frequencies, and operated using one of the airline’s two 180-seat A320s, Air Bishkek faces competition only on the latter, with Ural Airlines (three weekly flights), Avia Traffic Company (two) and Kyrgyzstan Aircompany (two) already present in the market.
