- Pegasus Airlines expanded its offering by two new routes in the course of last week. On 16 May, the Turkish carrier commenced services on its first route from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) to Spain, making Barcelona (BCN) its maiden destination in the country. Pegasus Airlines offers daily services on the route, on which it faces indirect competition from Turkish Airlines’ thrice-daily flights from Istanbul’s main airport. In addition, Pegasus Airlines inaugurated twice-weekly services from Antalya (AYT) to Pristina (PRN) in Kosovo on 20 May. Both new routes are operated using 737-800s.
