WOW air adds Düsseldorf as its third German destination this summer

  • WOW air introduced modifications to its offering in Germany this summer and will serve a total of three points in the country. In addition to the existing thrice-weekly schedule to Berlin Schoenefeld, the carrier reinstated the twice-weekly service from Reykjavik (KEF) to Stuttgart on 23 May. The latter service returns as a triangular route with Düsseldorf (DUS) becoming WOW air’s third destination in Germany. Twice-weekly flights are initially offered on the route, going up to thrice-weekly from 18 June. Lufthansa and airberlin provide competition in the market from Düsseldorf to Keflavik, which they operate with thrice- and twice-weekly frequencies respectively. WOW air uses its fleet of four A320s to operate in the market.
