Air Canada challenges Korean Air on the route from Toronto to Seoul Incheon
Air Canada commenced services on the 10,600-kilometre route from Toronto (YYZ) to Seoul Incheon (ICN) on 2 June. Thrice-weekly frequencies are offered by the Star Alliance carrier in competition with SkyTeam member Korean Air’s five-weekly departures, and operated using 777-300ERs. According to the latest press releases, the service has been downgraded from year-round to seasonal prior to the launch and will terminate on 27 October.
