Air One adds two new routes to St Petersburg
- Air One, part of the Alitalia group of airlines, launched two new routes to St Petersburg (LED) during the last week from Milan Malpensa (MXP) and Pisa (PSA). Both services operate weekly until mid-September, with competition being provided only the Milan route by Rossiya and Transaero. In addition Air One is also launching a seasonal, five-times weekly service between its main base at Venice (VCE) and Olbia (OLB) in Sardinia. Flights operate until 22 September and will face direct competition from Meridiana’s daily flights and Volotea, which operates between five and 11 weekly flights during the summer season. Finally, Air One introduced service between Catania (CTA) and Kiev Zhulyany (IEV) on Monday 3 June. The service will operate every 10-11 days during the summer season until mid-September.
