Air One adds two new routes to St Petersburg

Kiev Zhulyany Airport celebrates the launch of flights from Catania flown by Air One. The service will operate every 10 days until mid-September. For the Ukraine airport this new service is its third Italian destination after Milan Bergamo and Venice Treviso, both of which are served by Wizz Air Ukraine.

  • Air One, part of the Alitalia group of airlines, launched two new routes to St Petersburg (LED) during the last week from Milan Malpensa (MXP) and Pisa (PSA). Both services operate weekly until mid-September, with competition being provided only the Milan route by Rossiya and Transaero. In addition Air One is also launching a seasonal, five-times weekly service between its main base at Venice (VCE) and Olbia (OLB) in Sardinia. Flights operate until 22 September and will face direct competition from Meridiana’s daily flights and Volotea, which operates between five and 11 weekly flights during the summer season. Finally, Air One introduced service between Catania (CTA) and Kiev Zhulyany (IEV) on Monday 3 June. The service will operate every 10-11 days during the summer season until mid-September.
