Belavia launches flights to Kaliningrad from fourth point in Belorussia

  • Belavia commenced flights on the 380-kilometre route from Brest (BQT), located at the Belorussian border to Poland, to Kaliningrad (KGD) on 3 June. The carrier, which already offers services to the Russian city from Minsk (twice-daily), Gomel and Grodno (each twice-weekly), added twice-weekly flights on the newly launched route. Belavia uses 50-seater CRJ200s to operate this seasonal service, which it last operated in 2011 and which is scheduled to terminate on 9 September.
