Vueling adds Kiev, Minsk and Nador to Barcelona network

Cabin crew on Vueling's first flight from Barcelona to Kiev Zhulyany were greeted with flowers. The three-times weekly service arrives in Kiev at 04:30 (in darkness), and departs 90 minutes later at 06:00 (in daylight).

  • Europe’s fourth biggest LCC, Vueling, added three more new destinations, in two new countries, from its Barcelona (BCN) hub during the last week. Kiev Zhulyany (IEV) airport in Ukraine will be served with three weekly flights, while Minsk (MSQ), the capital of Belarus gets a weekly service. In addition the airline is entering two competitive markets to Morocco, one each from Barcelona and Paris Orly (ORY). The new daily service to Casablanca (CMN) from Paris will go head-to-head with competing services from Air France, Jetairfly, and Royal Air Maroc. Last year Vueling transported almost 15 million passengers on its fleet of A319s/A320s, and traffic in April of this year was up 13%.
