FlyGeorgia launches its second destination in the European Union

In Tbilisi, celebrating FlyGeorgia’s second destinations in the EU, Brussels, were Shiin Thomas, the airline’s Commercial and Ground Operations Director; Akaki Barkaia , TAV Georgia’s Ground Handling Manager; Aleksandre Gachechiladze; GCAA’s Chief of Air Transportation Department; Tea Zakaradze, TAV Georgia’s HR and Administration Manager; Guram Jalaghonia, Director of Georgian Civil Aviation Agency; Bijan Mougouee, Fly Georgia’s CEO; and Yavuz Aytis, TAV Georgia’s Assistant Manager Terminal Operations.

Yuri Yeghoyan, FlyGeorgia’s Station Manager Jan Van de Reyd, Brussels Airport’s Manager Aviation Marketing welcomed the crew arriving on FlyGeorgia’s inaugural service with traditional Belgian chocolates.

  • FlyGeorgia added Brussels (BRU) as the second destination in the European Union it offers from its Tbilisi (TBS) base, on 5 June. The airline, which already flies twice-weekly to Düsseldorf, now offers services of the same frequency to the Belgian capital. Services on the 3,200-kilometre route are operated using 114-seat A319s.
