Finnair expands its Asian network to Xi’an and Hanoi

  • Finnair added two seasonal services to Asia from its Helsinki (HEL) base last week. On 14 June, the carrier commenced flights on its fourth route to China, as it launched thrice-weekly schedule to Xi’an (XIY), home to the Terracotta Army. A day later, the airline inaugurated also thrice-weekly flights on the 7,500-kilometre route to Hanoi (HAN), its first destination in Vietnam. Both routes are operated using A330-300s, and are scheduled to terminate in late October.
