flyNonstop launches first flight from Aalesund
- flyNonstop, the new Kristiansand-based regional airline operating a single Embraer E190, has started a twice-weekly, seasonal service between Aalesund (AES) in Norway, and Nice (NCE) in the south of France. Flights are currently only on sale until 11 August. The airline already serves Nice from Kristiansand during the summer season, with between two and three weekly flights. This is the airline’s first route from Aalesund, though a second route, to St. Gallen-Altenrhein in Switzerland, is scheduled to start at the beginning of 2014. Aalesund Airport passed the one million passenger mark for the first time in 2013, as passenger numbers grew by 7.9%.
