Hong Kong Express adds Kunming as its sixth Chinese destination

  • Hong Kong Express commenced operations on its sixth route to China from its Hong Kong (HKG) base, as it launched services on the 1,200-kilomtere route to Kunming (KMG) on 24 June. Daily flights are offered on the route to the largest city in the Yunnan province, which was previously served by the airline’s parent company, Hong Kong Airlines, and operated using A320s. Competition comes from China Eastern Airlines and Dragonair, both of which operate daily flights between Hong Kong and Kunming.
