Interjet adds two domestic destinations from Mexico City

Celebrating Interjet’s inaugural arrival in the city were also Juan Manuel Rodriguez, Tourism Secretary of Coatzocoalcos; Luis Alberto Escornilla, Member of the City Council of Minatitlan; Francisco Arias, Interjet’s Manager Customer Service; Marco Theurel; Municipal President of Coatzocoalcos; Harry Grappa, Tourism Secretary of the State of Veracruz; Jose Murad, Constituent of the Turism Commission; and Aemando Gamboa, Minatitlan Airport’s Administrator.

Francisco Arias, Interjet’s Manager Customer Service, was given a warm welcome to Reynosa by Miguel Valdez Sánchez, the city’s Coordinator General for Tourism and Commerce.

  • Interjet expanded its offering from Mexico City (MEX) last week with the launch of two new destinations on 16 July. The airline, which started three new routes in the preceding week, now also serves Reynosa (REX) and Minatitlan (MTT) with six and five weekly frequencies respectively. Aeromexico provides competition on both routes, which it operates with 32 and 19 weekly flights respectively. Daily flights to Reynosa are additionally offered by VivaAerobus. Interjet deploys A320s on both new routes.
