Air India launches route to Birmingham

Air India’s Amritsar and Delhi to Birmingham

  • Air India launched its route from Amritsar (ATQ) via Delhi Airport (DEL) to Birmingham Airport (BHX) on 1 August. The new 6,800-kilometre service is to be flown using one of Star Alliance carrier’s the Boeing 787-8 and will be scheduled using a four times weekly frequency.

    I think this is a Mistake from Air India. They should have launched Manchester given the forward connectivity it has to the US.
