SilkAir adds new destination in Indonesia
Leading the celebration of SilkAir’s inaugural flight to Ujung Pandang was the airline’s CEO, Leslie Thng.
- SilkAir continued to expand its offering in Indonesia last week with the launch of services from its Singapore (SIN) base to Ujung Pandang (UPG) on 1 August. The 1,900-kilometre route, which was last operated in March 2003, is offered with thrice-weekly frequencies using A320s. SilkAir faces competition on the route from Indonesia AirAsia, which operates a four-weekly schedule between the two airports.
