Southwest Airlines celebrates new Las Vegas to Flint route

Southwest celebrated the launch of its new, non-stop, Las Vegas to Flint route on 11 August. Flint Airport welcomed the start of its fourth Southwest service with the help of two Las Vegas Showgirl as well as festivities laid on for passengers and staff to enjoy ahead of the inaugural flight.

  • Southwest Airlines has a strong hand with no competition on its new non-stop daily service from Las Vegas, NV (LAS) to Flint, MI (FNT). Flint, which started on 11 August, is now the airline’s 57th route served out of Las Vegas. The 2,789-kilometre sector will carry passengers on a 143-seat 737-700. Southwest now operates four routes (including this latest addition) to Flint, with Baltimore/Washington, Orlando and Tampa, being joined by Las Vegas. Flint Bishop Airport Director, Jim Rice, commented; “Flint Bishop International is pleased to give our passengers more options to connect within Southwest’s vast network”.
