Malmo Aviation launched two new routes to Visby and Östersund
- Malmö Aviation began marketing year-round services between Malmo (MMX) and Visby (VBY) on 27 August. The short 387-kilometre sector, which was originally seasonal, is now operated by NextJet, thrice-weekly, using Saab 340s. Malmö Aviation also offers services to Stockholm-Bromma from its Malmö base. The regional airline also added flights from Stockholm Bromma (BMA) to Östersund (OSD) on 2 September. The 466-kilometre sector is being offered up to four times daily (though no flights on Saturday), and is operated by Braathens Regional and its Saab 2000s.
