Bangkok Airways adds flights to Nay Pyi Taw in Myanmar

  • Bangkok Airways has become the first carrier to introduce international flights at Nay Pyi Taw (NYT) in Myanmar, with the start of flights from Bangkok (BKK) on 30 September. The 790-kilometre sector will be operated thrice-weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) using the airline’s 70-seat ATR 72s. Bangkok Airways already serves two other destinations in Myanmar; Yangon (with thrice-daily flights) and Mandalay (with four weekly flights).
