Aer Lingus Regional adds flights from Dublin to Newcastle

Leon McQuaid, Newcastle Airport’s Aviation Development Manager, and Simon Fagan, Aer Arann’s CCO, cut the celebratory cake for Aer Lingus Regional’s inaugural service to Dublin.

  • Aer Lingus Regional commences operations on the 350-kilometre route from Dublin (DUB) in Ireland to Newcastle (NCL) in the north of the United Kingdom. Beginning on 24 October, the carrier offers 13 weekly frequencies between the two cities in competition with Ryanair’s nine-weekly schedule. Turboprop ATRs will be deployed to operate the service.
