Ak Bars Aero adds 47 weekly frequencies to its route map

  • Ak Bars Aero, the Russian regional airline, is embarking on a significant expansion this winter season, with 13 new routes all starting on either 27 or 28 October. While some routes, like Ekaterinburg(SVX) to Novosibirsk (OVB) will face competition from five airlines with a combined 20 weekly operations versus the twice-weekly service being offered by Ak Bars Aero, five city pairs will be uncontested for the regional carrier. Not all of the routes are direct, with some airports, namely Krasnojarsk (KJA) being flown via Omsk (OMS) and Kemerovo (KEJ) operating via Ekaterinburg.
