Iberia Regional ramps-up domestic and Italian coverage
- Iberia Regional began four new routes at the start of the winter season, including two domestic routes in Spain, and two new international routes to Bologna (BLQ) in Italy. Two routes will face direct competition, with both rivals offering significantly more uplift than the incoming Spanish regional operator. The longest sector is the Bilbao (BIO) to Bologna route at 1,149 kilometres, while the shortest of the four new routes is also from Bilbao, this time to Palma de Mallorca, at just 629 kilometres.
